Still the same group, and our mission is still to train the citizens in our area to work together to be able to survive, even thrive, in a long term disaster situation. Our members learn, and will be able to teach others in their communities.
Why wait for a disaster, then ask “what should we do?” We believe in planning before the worst happens. Being ready, having skills.
Check out one or more of our teams to see what we are up to: Advanced Medical, Home Medicine, Communications (HAM radio), Engineering (building and fixing stuff), and General Preparedness (everything else). Security (learn how to protect yourself, your family and your neighborhood).
Yep, we teach water collection and purification, what to have with you at all times, supplies to have nearby, gardening, long term food storage, and so much more!
Lastly, we have our own Intelligence Team. Maybe you have a background in this area where you can be an asset to our team.
Our members meet twice a month, in the Chino Valley/Prescott area. The Verde Valley team is VVCPT (Verde Valley Communications and Preparedness Team) and they meet in Cottonwood. We are dedicated to helping YOUR community. You need to be a part of this! Veterans and Former Law Enforcement, this is a place for you to share your experience, help your neighbors, and meet some terrific people. Hoping to see you there!
