Jim explains that they are not a militia nor a paramilitary group. The Preparedness Team’s purpose is to teach people how to prepare for both natural and manmade disasters.
They have Communications, Home Medical, Engineering, Security, Intel, and Mobile Kitchens classes.
Jim sees the possibilities of economic collapse, nuclear war, and other disasters. The idea is to teach others how to survive such problems.
