The Art of Urban Survival

Since the invention of cities and by definition, civilization, man has created an artificial environment in which to live. Part of the function of this urban environment is to separate us from the rest of nature and protect us from natural disasters, climate, and the predation of predators. However, nature is not easily thwarted and the laws of the jungle still apply.
